MECHANICAL ENGINEER
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer who shall be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our plant and equipment. The applicant shall be responsible in leading our technical team to achieve the smooth and efficient running of our systems.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Plan and monitor Preventive Maintenance schedules.
- Diagnose breakdown causes and repair.
- Ensure that equipment installations and vehicles are maintained to regulatory standards.
- Involved in or familiar with any project plans for the installation of new equipment.
- Modify and improve equipment, plant and processes.
- Ensure calibration instrumentation including Weighting systems, Flow control and Level indicators.
- Contribute to the development of safe system of work ensuring that the company Health and Safety Standards are complied with, and safe working practices are always adopted.
- Provide technical advice, training support, and information to departmental managers, supervisors and staff.

- Provide quick responses to maintenance issues.
- Identify problems and help improve processes.
- Use software to generate reports and schedules.
- Ensure that the company deadlines are met.
- Good command of Maltese and English languages is mandatory.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Honours in Mechanical Engineering)
- Advance Knowledge of maintenance process and standards in the field.
- Driving licence Cat “B”
Experience:
Must have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
