Construction Worker

A Construction Worker is responsible for performing a variety of physical tasks on construction sites to assist in building, repairing, and maintaining structures and infrastructure. The role involves using tools, operating equipment, preparing job sites, and supporting skilled tradespeople to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow instructions from supervisors.
- Assist with tasks such as mixing concrete, assembling scaffolding, and related when required.
- Measure and cut materials according to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all workplace health and safety regulations.
- Report hazards, accidents, or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Help transport materials and equipment around the site.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction or related field is an advantage.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
