Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Architect to join our team. The Architect will be responsible for overseeing the construction of buildings and other structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of architectural principles, excellent and the ability to manage projects from conception to completion.
Full-time position, with occasional overtime or weekend work required to meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with clients to determine project requirements and objectives.
– Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents using CAD software.
– Oversee project timelines, budgets, and schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
– Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
– Resolve any construction issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
– Present project proposals and progress updates to clients.
– Address client feedback and make necessary adjustments to work practices.
– Foster strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction with the final product.
– Incorporate sustainable design principles and materials to create environmentally friendly structures.
– Stay updated with the latest architectural trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
– Degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
Requirements:
– Fluent knowledge of Maltese and English languages.
– Driving licence category B
Skills:
– Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD)
– Strong design and visualisation skills.
– Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
– Effective communication and presentation skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related position in Malta.
