B&B Construction is seeking a skilled and dedicated Construction Labourer/Helper to join our team in Malta. As a member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for various on-site tasks, including debris removal, scaffold erection, loading/unloading building materials, and assisting with the operation of heavy equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all duties assigned by the Foreman to ensure efficient project execution.
- Safely transport materials and supplies from trucks to the job site, ensuring they are readily available for installation or other tasks.
- Work with various equipment on the construction site, including levellers/graders, excavators, mining machines, and trucks.
- Engage in underground activities on construction sites.
- Clear and clean the construction site, removing waste materials such as lead or asbestos.
- Prepare and apply construction materials, such as cement, to build structures or fill gaps.
- Dig trenches and clear rubble and debris from the site before commencing construction.
- Utilize saws, hammers, nails, and bolts for framing purposes.
- Operate power tools, large equipment (e.g., cement mixers, mechanical hoists), and surveying equipment.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Labourer or Helper in the building construction industry is required.
Note: Candidates must already be located in Malta to be considered for this position.
