CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

We are looking for a Construction Project Manager to join our building and construction team. You will be responsible for overseeing several different types of construction projects.

Job duties and responsibilities

  • Organise and facilitate the complete construction process from planning through to delivery.
  • Manage all pre-construction, construction, quality control, and post construction responsibilities.
  • Understand what the client and the company want to achieve
  • Agree timelines, costs and resources needed to deliver a project
  • Drawing up a detailed plan for how to achieve each stage of a project.
  • Select and lead the working team.
  • Direct a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Communicate with staff at every level, in a calm, personable way.
  • Ensure that each stage of the project happens on time, on budget and to a high standard
  • Report regularly on progress to the Project Director and the client.
  • Resolve any issues or delays
  • Demonstrate knowledge of all areas of construction
  • Work at the office and in the construction sites.
  • Ensure conformity to building plans and design layouts while maintaining safe and productive construction sites.
  • Supervise the completion of projects sites.
  • Help to ensure occupational health and safety regulations are being complied with.
  • Manage an on-site workforce of employees and contractors, oversee their performance.
  • Manage on-site resources such as people, construction materials, tools, equipment and machinery.
  • Create status reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

Experience

  • A minimum of 3+ years’ experience is required

Working Hours

You will work 40 Hours per week.

Monday to Friday

7 am to 4 pm

Daily one hour Break
