The Maintenance Department Coordinator will oversee the maintenance and repair of all machinery, heavy vehicles, and company properties. This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure efficient operations, equipment reliability, and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities:

· Manage preventative and corrective maintenance schedules for all machinery, heavy vehicles, and properties.

· Coordinate daily maintenance operations and prioritize tasks to minimise downtime.

· Act as the main point of contact for maintenance requests and allocate resources accordingly.

· Monitor the performance of machinery and heavy vehicles, ensuring regular inspections and maintenance are conducted.

· Manage spare parts inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships to ensure timely repairs.

· Recommend equipment upgrades or replacements when necessary.

Documentation

· Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, work orders, and inspections.

· Prepare and submit maintenance reports.

Safety & Compliance:

· Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and company policies.

· Conduct safety audits and provide staff training on proper use and handling of equipment.

· Supervise and provide guidance to maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors.

· Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development initiatives.

Qualifications:

· Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or related field preferred.

· Minimum of 3-5 years in maintenance management, with experience in heavy vehicles and industrial machinery.

· Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.

· Proven experience with safety and regulatory compliance.
